DOMA No...Ma?

I will stand and say that not all the fights are over, some of the battles haven't even started, and most of us know that as a country, we still have a long way to go for true equality.

But with that being said, this blogger is elated that DOMA is overturned, that Prop 8 was struck down, and that many of my loved ones are hopefully on their way to being recognized as the equal persons, partners, and citizens I know them to be.

This won't completely fix or eliminate problems, but it's a damn strong talking point when we need to address them.

Great job with this one, SCOTUS.  Love wins.

  1. I agree; Joe and I were married on June 7, 2013 after 11 years together, and its nice to know we won't be penalized for it.

  2. Eliminate grains and sugars, especially fructose. Conventional diabetes treatment has failed over the last 50 years partly because of its seriously flawed dietary principles. Eliminate ALL sugars and grains – even “healthful” ones like whole, organic, or sprouted grains – from your diet. Avoid breads, pasta, cereals, rice, potatoes, and corn (which is, in fact, a grain). Until your blood sugar gets under control, you may want to avoid fruits as well.
