Eye of the Beholder

The average person sees:

A cute checkboard clutch bag.

I see:

A cute new home for my glucose meter.  And yeah, that's a real number.  Don't judge me.

The average person sees:

A tasty pack of fruity sugar-free chewing gum.

I see:

A home for used test strips and lancets so I don't dirty up my cute new black and white checkerboard meter case with a bunch of old blood and stuff.

I'm creative, and I have Type 1 diabetes.  Do you think it shows much?  :)

Hey, where did you get the cover for your meter and how much did it cost? I have the same meter and love it, but I'd love to add some color to it. Also, love the new checkered case for it. =]

  10. I saw on the bayer site if you register your USB meter you can get a free thank you gift and one of the ones it offered me was a free jacket for the meter!!!

  11. LOL. You made my day. I'm reminded of this painter that I dated once. He used a starbucks gum container as home for his watercolor pigments. It's a wonderful world!
