I was feeling poorly today. High BS's all over the place.
However, we now have apples, which make me happy.
My husband and my roommate are now trying to beat each other at Geometry Wars for XBox 360.
I am completely awake. Well, sort of. Another night of Nyquil caplets for me. I want to meet up with my gym-going friend, but I may take a day off from working out tomorrow. I think sickness + workouts = Slightly Woozy Hannah. No fun.
This post is completely random, and I have to admit I don't have a real point for posting this at all.
Soooo...tell me something I don't know about you. It'll make for some interesting reading!
Sick sucks! But at least it gives you a good and legit excuse to veg out and totally do NOTHING! That's always nice.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Something about me you don't already know.
I used to work at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Not sure what you know about the Federal Reserve system, but it's basically where your bank keeps it's extra cash. Yeah, lots of money. High security. Very tough security scrutiny to get in.
For my background screen, prior to being hired there, they had to take my fingerprints. They had some cool scanner gadget hooked up to a big 19' monitor, and as they rolled my finger onto the scanner pad, I could see the image of my finger print on the screen! It was a trip!
My digits were just riddled with what seemed like THOUSANDS of big diamond shaped lancet marks! I explained to the guard that I was diabetic, and where/what all the marks were from.
I just watched in amazement for a while.
Then I wondered to myself if all these marks would make it easier or harder to identify me based on finger prints? They do heal, so does that mean my fingerprints are constantly changing? Depending on how often I'm checking my BG's?
I posted something about that on my blog back in 2004 I think, so technically you might already know. I'm taking a chance though that you didn't get back that far. :-)
i haven't worked out in six weeks, im such a lazy bum
ReplyDeleteHey! I really enjoy reading your blog! I'm new to the OC so you don't know anything about me - so everyting is new :) I just stared a blog if you'd like to check it out. But one thing you won't read about me on there is that I have to tap a diet coke can 5 times before I open it. Hope you feel better soon!
